RAW WORLD 2007
—LET THE ADVENTURE TOUR BEGIN!
Only 24 participants will be taking the Raw World Adventure
Tour, an intimate group experience with Cherie Soria and Dan
Ladermann as your expert guides—they’ve been there, done that, and
want to do it again and again!
You’ll be greeted at the
airport upon arrival in San Jose and whisked to your hotel, for a
restful evening before the first exciting leg of your adventure.
You’ll pack a two-night bag for the boat trip to Tortuguero National
Park, a navigable network of lakes and canals that are accessible
only by boat or air. There are no roads to get there—this is
pristine nature at its finest!
On the Caribbean coast of
Costa Rica, Tortuguero is an incredible land of biological
diversity, where, in summer, impressive green turtles nest and lay
their eggs. The lush lowland rainforest, a tropical sanctuary for
over 300 species of birds, including toucans, herons, hummingbirds,
and green macaws is also the natural habitat for an amazing array of
wildlife. You’ll see monkeys, crocodiles, turtles, iguanas,—you may
even be lucky enough to spot an elusive manatee!
During your
trip, you’ll enjoy the company of other like-minded raw food
enthusiasts, stopping at local restaurants and dining at your hotel,
the Turtle Beach Lodge. Delicious raw food meals will be a part of
your inclusive package, and cooked vegetarian and seafood options
will also be available on the menus for those who are not 100% raw.
Your tour will include boat trips in the morning and hiking
adventures in the afternoons, all organized for maximum enjoyment by
CRT, Costa Rica’s premier travel planners.
On Saturday
morning you’ll depart by charter flight from Tortuguero to San Jose
for the next leg of the journey, an adventure on the Raw World bus
to the Arenal area, where you’ll see an active volcano, visit an
amazing hot springs, and make a stop to visit the famed La Paz
waterfall gardens! Stay tuned...
